Here’s where I’ll be in June:
Wednesday June 7th: The 2023 Atlantic Book Awards Gala takes place at Paul O’Regan Hall in Halifax Central Library at 7:00 p.m. and will be hosted by journalist, author, and editor Lindsay Ruck (Amazing Black Atlantic Canadians). Tuesday June 6th, 7-8 pm: I’ll be appearing with fellow nominees, including Alexander MacLeod and Bobbi French, in Liverpool (location TBD) to celebrate the finalists for the Dartmouth Book Award and the Thomas Raddall Award.
Monday June 5th, 7 pm: I’ll be appearing at the Nova Scotia Book Awards Gala Evening at Brightwood Golf & Country Club, 227 School Street, Dartmouth. Tickets are available here
Sunday June 4th, 2-3:30 pm : I’ll be appearing with fellow Ann Connor Brimer nominees Nikki Davison and Vicky Grant at the Lunenburg School of the Arts for a panel discussing difficult topics in contemporary YA literature. Afterwards the 3 authors will be signing books at Block Shop Books.
